Brittany Ferries : Opération scrubbers réussie sur le Normandie

Premier navire de Brittany Ferries à être équipé d’un système de lavage des fumées, le Normandie, exploité entre Caen-Ouistreham et Portsmouth, a été remis en service le 2 janvier. Du 15 octobre au 30 décembre, il est passé par le chantier espagnol Astander pour un arrêt technique majeur.

GTT va équiper quatre méthaniers de Maran Gas construits chez DSME

Paris – 23 January 2015. GTT, world leader in the design of membrane containment systems for the maritime transportation and storage of LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas), announces an order for four large LNGCs (Liquefied Natural Gas Carriers).  The four ships will be built by the Korean shipbuilder DSME (Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering).

These four LNGCs for Maran Gas are expected to be delivered between 2017 and 2019 and will be built with the innovative NO96-GW technology, which allows an optimized boil-off rate of cargo LNG.
